As an occupational therapist, Emily provides direct intervention and parent training for children at Abilities who require OT services to help with the development of age appropriate skills. Emily also directs the Cursive Handwriting Group and the Preschool Group at our Baton Rouge location. She enjoys working with children of all ages and seeing them progress to become more independent and successful with their daily activities.
Emily graduated with her Master of Occupational Therapy from The University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama and joined the Abilities team in March of 2016.
Prior to joining the Abilities team, Emily worked for four years as an occupational therapist in a pediatric outpatient setting where she gained experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses.
