As an occupational therapist, Kaila is fulfilling her lifelong dream of making the difference in the lives of others. Kaila has a passion for collaborating across disciplines with other therapists to ensure the most comprehensive treatment is provided to each of her clients. Kaila was also integral in helping the administrative team establish our second location in Satsuma, Livingston. In addition to providing direct therapy, she facilitates our Preschool Group at our Livingston Location, and travels to local private schools to provide direct occupational therapy.
Kaila graduated with her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Alabama and joined the Abilities team in January of 2014.
Prior to joining the Abilities team, she studied Kinesiology at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. She completed her final clinical rotation at the Alabama School for the Deaf and Blind. Kaila has enjoyed facilitating groups of children with all abilities as a Day Camp Counselor and has provided countless hours of direct child care.
