Natalie has a passion for working with young children and believes that early intervention is a critical component to enhance a child’s full communication potential. She is dedicated in supporting infant, toddler, and child development through play skills and social interaction to build functional independence and self-confidence. She enjoys collaborating with her peers and a multi-disciplinary team. Natalie has provided evaluation and treatment for children with a variety of diagnoses such as developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, articulation and phonological disorders, and language/auditory processing disorders. In addition to her treatment responsibilities, Natalie also supervises graduate students from various universities for their clinical practicum.
Natalie graduated with a B.A. in speech-language pathology from Southeastern Louisiana University and a M.S. degree from Southern University. She joined the Abilities team in March of 2013.
Prior to joining the Abilities team, she spent her career servicing preschool and elementary school-aged children in both Jefferson Parish and East Baton Rouge Public School Systems. She also has experience working with the Louisiana Early Steps Program, as well as in the nursing home setting.
