Credentials

Our staff consists of licensed speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and physical therapists. This assures you that we have all completed the requirements to hold fully valid licenses issued by the state of Louisiana in addition to meeting the certification requirements for our respective national professional organizations.

Speech-language pathologists practicing in our office all hold master's degrees from accredited universities. We are all certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).This means:

• We have each passed a national exam in speech-language pathology.
• We have each completed one year of professional, supervised work experience (the equivalent of an "internship").
• Our coursework and clinical training has met ASHA's stringent requirements for certification.

• We each hold a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from an accredited university.
• We have each passed a national certification examination in order to be registered by our professional board.
• We are each licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
