The Fast ForWord® Family of Programs

The Fast ForWord ® Family of Programs are computer-based intervention tools designed to remediate auditory processing, oral language and phonologically-based reading disorders. With customized programs that are suitable for children from preschool through high school, Fast ForWord ® offers individualized training that adapts to each student's progress on a daily basis. According to Scientific Learning Corporation, the average gain in language skills is 12-24 months with only 6-8 weeks of training.

Abilities is proud to have been the first provider of these programs in the Baton Rouge area and continues to stay up-to-the-minute on innovations in program administration. We now have four Certified Providers on staff to assess children and help parents plan the most effective clinic- or home-based program implementation. We offer free information sessions for parents and interested educators at various times throughout the year.
