Making Sense of Sounds for Reading & Spelling

Programs with Judy Moock will run in June and July. Students learn how the mouth moves to produce the sound sequences of English, providing them with multi-sensory input and a built-in tool for self-correction, increasing the rate, accuracy and fluency of reading as well as boosting spelling. For students of all ages, by appt.
Session I June 2-July2 and Session II July 7-July 31.

The Write Idea!

Individual instruction in written language and composition skills. The program is designed to build skills in language structure for spelling, word formation, grammatical skills, and paragraph writing. For students of all ages, by appt. Session I June 2-July2 and Session II July 7-July 31.

Pen Pals Handwriting Group

Offered by Stacy Corder and Kelly Reynolds. Printing groups for those entering Pre K-2nd grade and cursive groups for those entering 3rd-4th grade. These groups will establish the underlying skills and good habits necessary for handwriting success.
Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 weeks starting June 3-June 26 for printing (Pre K-K 1:00-2:00/1st-2nd grade 9:30-10:30). July 8-July 31 for cursive (Grades 3-4) 11:00-12:00.
8 sessions / $400.00 + $10.00 supply fee

How Does Your Engine Run?

The Alert Program for Self-RegulationTM will be conducted by Amy Fuselier and Jill Pipsair. School-age children will learn sensory strategies to get themselves to that "just right place", that calm, alert state that facilitates learning, sustained attention, completion of tasks, and smooth transitions.
Tuesdays and Thursdays for 5 weeks starting June 17-July 17 from 11:30-12:30.
10 sessions / $500.00 + $10.00 supply fee

Yikes Bikes

Conducted by Amy Fuselier. Have fun learning to ride your bike with others. Sessions will provide your child with basic skills necessary for learning how to ride their bike.
Session I begins June 16-June 20, 9:00-10:00 Monday –Friday. Session II begins June 23 – June 30, 9:00-10:00 Mon-Thurs and the following Mon.
5 sessions / $300.00.

"Let's Take Turns" Social Language Skills Groups

Conducted by Amy Arledge. Grouped by age, children 5–13 will be supported by the speech-language therapist to learn and practice communication skills that are critical to mature, successful social interactions throughout life.
Group I 9:00-10:00, Group II 10:30-11:30 and Group III 1:00-2:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays for 5 weeks beginning June 10-July 10.
10 sessions / $500.00 + $10.00 supply fee

"Chef-A-Bility" Math Group

A fun, interactive and practical method to learning math skills.
Begins on June 3-June 26 for ages 8–10. 11:30-12:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 weeks.
8 sessions / $350.00 + $25.00 supply fee

"Study Buddies" Study Skills Group

Will assist students in organization of materials and teach strategies for learning new information.
Begins June 3-June 26 for ages 10-12. 10:00-11:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 weeks.
