Want to “spice-up” your math skills? Why not try Abilities new cooking group! It is a fun, interactive and practical method to learning and reviewing math skills while creating something fun to eat.

Math Skills to be addressed:

• Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division of Money
• Measurement Concepts
• Fractions
• Time

In addition, we will learn:

• Kitchen Safety
• How to Read a Recipe
• Sequencing Steps
• Proper kitchen clean-up

Participants will receive:

• A chef’s hat
• A wooden cooking spoon
• Copies of recipes used

Parents may even get to sample our tasty creations...If there are any left!
