Communication (AAC)
AAC tools and devices aim to facilitate, supplement, or replace verbal speech.
Picture exchange systems, communication boards, choice cards, and speech generating devices are all examples of AAC options.
AAC isn't just for people who have motor impairments which limit their verbal speech. AAC can also be used for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, or Cognitive Disabilities.

About US
For over 35 years, our company has offered pediatric services specialized in development for children ages birth to 21. With a family-centered approach, our specialists treat the child first, not simply the diagnosis. As such, our team provides collaborative care for families and their children with a variety of developmental delays and diagnoses.
Our success comes from a culture that puts children and their families first. Abilities has had incredible success by:
-
Using the most advanced treatment approaches available to assist children in eating, speaking, playing, learning, reading, writing and socializing.
-
Combining speech and occupational therapy- giving each child multidisciplinary development opportunities.
-
Helping children in our state-of-the-art facility; designed by therapists for therapy.
-
Designing treatment plans to help the child achieve skills that improve their “abilities” to play, learn, and grow.
